Why I built StepSavvy

Mahin Acharya, founder of StepSavvy

“I built StepSavvy because getting back to the things you love shouldn’t depend on how often you can see a specialist. Most of that work happens at home, where no one is there to show you how you’re actually moving. So I turned the phone in your pocket into a simple way to see how you walk and a clear plan for what to work on next. Whether you’re coming back from surgery, managing an old injury, or just want to move better, StepSavvy is built to meet you where you are. Every step you take is progress, and I want StepSavvy to help you see it.”

Mahin Acharya is the founder of StepSavvy and is currently pursuing a career in surgery, with a passion for app development. Seeing how much of recovery happens at home, between appointments, inspired Mahin to bring medicine and technology together in a simple tool that helps people understand how they move and keep making progress.
